A cutting fromThe Universe, 1 November 1935, and some other pictures of our founders.

I don't know how legible this will be. Click on the image to enlarge it, and then you should be able to enlarge it further, to the point where it is easily legible, by clicking on the enlarged image. It is scanned from a 75 year old newspaper cutting. If you can't read it, let me know at church, and I'll run you off a paper copy. I've also included some of the photos of Penrose Fry and Sheila Kaye-Smith which Michael Bristow-Smith kindly allowed me to share.

I've had some offers of more contributions, and they will be welcome. Any information on those buried in the churchyard, and on other notable former parishioners, would be nice to have.

Jenny Keeling has suggested placing a board in the porch recording the names of all our priests over the years, which she and Mike would be prepared to pay for. I think this would be an excellent addition to the church, and reminds me that we could do with more biographical details of these priests, including Fr John Hagreen and Fr Francis Reid, (? Reed). Any volunteers?

Also, I still await a contribution from Fr Ed about our link with his Peruvian parish, which I will illustrate with a picture of the striking tapestry which they gave us, along with, I hope some more photographs.
